Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Analytics & Observability Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to drive app analytics and observability across our digital ecosystem. In this role, you will optimize analytics solutions for web applications, mobile apps, Salesforce platforms, backend services, databases, and infrastructure components. You will monitor user behaviour, ensure data quality, and generate actionable insights to inform product decisions. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and

UX teams to elevate our understanding of how users engage with and experience our products end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and maintain application analytics instrumentation using platforms such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Dynatrace, and Datadog RUM.

- Drive observability best practices across the product ecosystem-including applications such as Salesforce, web platforms, and mobile apps-by monitoring key metrics such as performance, usage patterns, errors, and user flows using tools like Datadog, Dynatrace, or similar observability platforms.

- Design tracking plans and ensure a consistent event taxonomy across all products.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed tracking across mobile apps, web applications, Salesforce platforms, infrastructure components, and data base systems.

- Validate data collection and troubleshoot discrepancies between expected and actual results.

- Build dashboards and reports to visualize user engagement, retention, conversion funnels, feature adoption, performance trends, and key product KPIs across applications

- Analyse data to uncover trends, user behaviours, and opportunities for feature optimization.

- Present findings and recommendations to product managers and leadership teams.

- Stay current with industry best practices in analytics implementation, observability tooling, and emerging technologies to continuously improve data quality, performance insights, and product decision-making

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in app/product analytics or data analysis roles.

- Proficiency with analytics platforms such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, Google Analytics, Datadog, Dynatrace, or similar tools.

- Familiarity with core observability concepts such as application monitoring, error tracking, performance insights, log analysis, and real-user monitoring.

- Experience working with SQL or other data query languages, with additional skills in Python or R for data analysis, automation, and validation; familiarity with ETL/ELT workflows and data warehousing concepts is a plus.

- Ability to design clear, scalable tracking specifications and collaborate with engineering teams to implement instrumentation across web, mobile, Salesforce, backend services, infrastructure components, and databases

- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with mobile analytics (iOS/Android SDKs).

- Experience with logging/monitoring tools (Datadog, Dynatrace).

- Exposure to A/B testing methodologies and experimentation platforms.

- Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
