About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Utilities Technical Developer with strong expertise in Oracle CC&B, C2M, CCS and MDM. The role involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting Oracle Utilities solutions, with a focus on RICE components, Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF), product architecture, and customisation.

Responsibilities :

- Lead the technical design, development, unit testing, deployment, and support of Oracle Utilities solutions across CC&B, C2M, CCS, and MDM.

- Develop and customise RICE components using Oracle Utilities Application Framework, including batch programs, algorithms, UI Maps, Business Objects (BO), Maintenance Objects (MO), service and business scripts, BPA scripts, user exits, and web services.

- Analyse product architecture, data models, and functional specifications to prepare technical design documents and implement appropriate solutions.

- Develop and maintain technical components using Java, Groovy, HQL, SQL, PL/SQL, and other scripting languages.

- Work with Hibernate and WebLogic Server, including application performance monitoring and optimisation.

- Support environment patching, code deployment, application security configuration, and release activities.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues during implementation, production support, and post-go-live phases.

- Evaluate technical solution options and collaborate with functional teams, clients, and subject matter experts to ensure effective delivery.

- Prepare technical documentation and unit-test cases, ensuring deliverable quality and adherence to project standards.

- Provide technical leadership, mentor developers, and coordinate development activities to ensure timely project delivery.

Requirements :

- 8 - 10 years of overall experience, with at least 6 years of relevant experience in Oracle Utilities.

- Strong hands-on technical design and development experience in Oracle CC&B, C2M, or CCS.

- Minimum 6 years of experience with Oracle Utilities and RICE components, preferably including CC&B.

- Strong understanding of Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF), product architecture, and data models.

- Hands-on experience with batch programming, algorithms, UI Maps, BO/MO, service and business scripts, BPA scripts, user exits, and web services.

- Proficiency in Java, Groovy, HQL, SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting languages.

- Experience with Hibernate, WebLogic Server, and application performance management tools.

- Experience implementing Oracle Utilities solutions in Power, Water, or Gas domains.

- Exposure to regulated or deregulated utility markets in Australia or the United States is preferred.

- Strong technical documentation, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and team mentoring skills.
