Job Title : Senior Java Developer (JavaFX / Microservices Healthcare Domain)

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in modern Java development, desktop UI frameworks, and backend microservices architecture, preferably within the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will contribute to building reliable, scalable, and high-performance healthcare applications, ensuring compliance, data integrity, and seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable healthcare applications using Java (latest versions including Java 25).

- Build and enhance rich desktop applications using JavaFX for clinical or operational workflows.

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architecture supporting healthcare systems.

- Work with Hibernate/JPA for efficient data persistence and management of healthcare data.

- Write optimized and complex database queries ensuring performance and data consistency.

- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards, data security, and privacy requirements (e.g., handling sensitive patient data).

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and domain experts.

- Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure best practices in coding, security, and performance.

- Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.

Required Skills :

- 10+ years of strong experience in Java development (including modern Java versions).

- Hands-on experience with JavaFX for UI development.

- Strong experience in REST API development and microservices architecture.

- Expertise in Hibernate/JPA and database query optimization.

- Solid understanding of dependency injection principles.

- Experience with Google Guice or similar frameworks (Spring DI, etc.), or willingness to learn Guice.

- Good understanding of software design patterns and architecture.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience working on healthcare applications (e.g., EMR/EHR, medical devices, imaging, or clinical workflows).

- Understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM is a plus).

- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in healthcare software.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Proven experience delivering enterprise-grade applications, preferably in healthcare.
