Key Responsibilities :

- Expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks using JavaScript / Playwright or Python / Pytest Selenium frameworks.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Should be good at Test strategy for identifying and designing robust Regression tests

- Execute automated and manual tests to identify software defects and ensure high product quality.

- Perform API and database testing and validation to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

- Analyze test results from both manual and automated test runs, fix broken scripts, document defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.

- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in best practices for automation and testing methodologies.

- Create POCs using AI and latest technologies to enhance testing processes / tools.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall quality of the codebase.

- Provide reports on defects , test executions, summary and traceability to your manager.

Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with hands on automation expertise.

- Strong proficiency in coding languages like JavaScript/ Python/Java and experience with automation frameworks/Tools like Playwright, Pytest, Selenium, TestNG,Postman.

- Solid understanding of database concepts and experience with SQL for database testing.

- Experience with both UI and API testing and automation.

- Hands on experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps /Jenkins.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in an Agile environment.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have :

Experience and understanding of performance testing and tools.

Experience and understanding of Security testing and tools.

Experience creating test harnesses, utilities and working with docker / AWS is a plus.

Experience working with Grafana , Splunk, Kibana etc for logs and monitoring.
