Role Purpose :

- The Staff AI Engineer is a hands-on technical expert responsible for building AI-augmented engineering capabilities, implementing agentic workflows, and enabling AI-powered SDLC automation across engineering teams.

- You will design, build, and operationalize AI-driven development tools, multi-agent systems, and context-aware code generation frameworks that accelerate developer productivity, improve software quality, and modernize legacy systems.

- This role is ideal for someone who loves solving complex engineering problems using GenAI, LLMs, automation, and cloud-native architectures.

Key Responsibilities :

- Implement AI-assisted development workflows using GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and other AI coding assistants.

- Build AI-augmented SDLC components including automated testing, code review, debugging, and refactoring.

- Develop agentic automation workflows using frameworks like n8n, OpenClaw, MCP, and A2A.

- Integrate LLM-powered capabilities into developer tools, IDEs, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Build multi-agent systems for :

a. Automated debugging

b. Intelligent test generation

c. Code remediation

d. Security vulnerability detection

- Contribute to AI-enabled modernization of legacy systems, including automated code translation and refactoring.

- Build context-aware AI systems using codebases, documentation, architecture diagrams, and telemetry.

- Ensure AI-generated code and systems meet enterprise standards for security, reliability, and performance.

- Collaborate with platform engineering, DevOps, and architecture teams to integrate AI capabilities.

- Participate in architecture reviews, design discussions, and engineering strategy sessions.

- Mentor engineers on AI-augmented development practices and tools.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10 to 14 years of experience in software engineering, distributed systems, or cloud-native development.

- Hands-on experience with AI-driven SDLC transformation or AI-assisted engineering.

- Strong programming skills in Java, C#, Python, and full-stack development.

- Experience with React, Angular, HTML, CSS.

- Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native architecture.

- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code.

- Ability to design scalable, secure, and reliable systems.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Experience working cross-functionally with multiple engineering teams.

Preferred :

- Experience with AWS, SaaS platforms, or fintech.

- Exposure to mobile development.

- Experience with AI agent frameworks, LLM orchestration, or multi-agent systems.
