Job Title : Oracle Revenue Management Cloud Service (RMCS) Techno-Functional Consultant / Technical Specialist

Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Oracle RMCS Specialist with strong hands-on expertise to support, configure, and troubleshoot our revenue recognition environment.

The ideal candidate is a Techno-Functional Resource capable of configuring RMCS, diagnosing issues, and fixing defects.

If a techno-functional candidate is unavailable, we will consider a strong Technical Specialist who can independently diagnose, configure, and resolve technical or functional issues within RMCS and holds a deep understanding of the integration, setup, and relationship between Oracle e-Business Suite (eBS) and Oracle RMCS across various complex use cases.

Key Responsibilities :

- System Configuration & Maintenance : Configure Oracle RMCS rules, contracts, performance obligations, and pricing bands to align with business requirements and ASC 606 / IFRS 15 standards.

- Issue Diagnosis & Defect Resolution : Independently triage, diagnose, and resolve functional configuration errors, code defects, and data mismatches within RMCS.

- eBS to RMCS Integration Management : Oversee and troubleshoot the end-to-end data flow between Oracle eBS (Order Management, AR, Purchasing, Service Contracts/Subscriptions) and RMCS.

- Techno-Functional Problem Solving : Trace execution through underlying database structures, staging tables, and custom extensions to identify root causes of data load or revenue accounting failures.

- Use Case Execution : Test and validate complex revenue recognition scenarios, including contract modifications, multi-element arrangements, variable consideration, and prospective/retrospective accounting.

- Collaborative Support : Work closely with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to translate complex financial/business requirements into technical solutions within the Oracle ecosystem.

Qualifications & Required Experience :

1. Must-Have Experience :

- Direct, hands-on experience working with Oracle Revenue Management Cloud Service (RMCS).

- Proven track record of configuring RMCS rules, diagnosing production issues, and resolving technical or functional defects.

2. Technical & Integration Skills :

- Deep functional and technical understanding of the Oracle eBS to RMCS relationship, including source document extraction, data staging, and transaction flow.

- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or middleware technologies used to move and transform data between eBS and Cloud apps.

- Experience troubleshooting data inbound/outbound interfaces, FBDI templates, and Web Services/APIs associated with RMCS.

3. Functional Knowledge :

- Solid grasp of ASC 606 / IFRS 15 revenue recognition principles (Identify Contract, Identify Obligations, Determine Price, Allocate Price, Recognize Revenue).

- Hands-on knowledge of related Oracle modules : Oracle Financials (AR/AP/GL), Order Management (OM), and Billing/Subscription systems.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Primary Preference : Strong Techno-Functional profile with the ability to bridge the gap between accounting stakeholders and backend Oracle technical architectures.

- Experience with cloud-to-cloud integrations or multi-system ERP environments.

- Relevant Oracle Cloud Certifications (e.g., Oracle Financials Cloud : Revenue Management Implementation Specialist)
