The Discovery Team delivers consumer-facing data insights in the Alation Data Catalog by working on our best-in-class search engine. We are working on bleeding-edge solutions as we integrate machine-learning technologies into our current architecture. Our architecture encompasses the concerns of dealing with big data problems while attaining near real-time performance. While doing this, we cooperate closely with the Product Team and our customers to ensure a first-class experience.

Responsibilities :

- Work with the product team to deliver solutions to our customers' problems.

- Write clean, tested, and well-documented code.

- Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the quality of the code.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent work experience.

- 5+ years of professional experience designing, developing, shipping software products and/or n-tier services.

- Proficiency in Python or experience with an equivalent object-oriented language like C# or Java.

- Exposure to data modeling in RDBMS and/or document data stores

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
