We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Chatbot Developer with at least 5 years of experience in designing, developing, delivering, and operating large-scale chatbot solutions.

This role involves strong technical leadership, end-to-end ownership, and the ability to collaborate across business teams and platform providers to convert requirements into scalable chatbot features.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-grade chatbot systems.

- Build and optimize backend services, workflows, and integrations using Node.js, Python, and cloud-native technologies.

- Run and maintain the chatbots overall operations, health, monitoring, reliability, and performance.

- Actively monitor logs, analytics, dashboards, and alerts to ensure stability and SLA compliance.

- Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement long-term corrective actions.

- Collaborate with chatbot platform providers to implement new features, platform enhancements, and roadmap items.

- Work with business stakeholders across multiple teams to gather requirements and convert them into clear deliverables and features.

- Manage integrations, data flows, and automation with enterprise data systems, financial applications, and master data platforms.

- Own the chatbots knowledge architecture including training material quality and knowledge management processes.

- Drive continuous improvement in performance, accuracy, reliability, and user experience using analytics insights.

- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and uphold engineering best practices.

- Implement DevOps and CI/CD workflows to streamline development and deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 5+ years of experience in chatbot development, conversational AI, or automation platforms.

- Strong proficiency in Node.js and Python.

- Deep understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, microservices, and enterprise integration patterns.

- Experience with chatbot analytics, performance measurement, and operational insights.

- Proven ability to manage end-to-end chatbot operations, upgrades, monitoring, and optimizations.

- Strong stakeholder collaboration skills with experience working across multiple teams and business functions.

- Ability to convert business requirements into structured technical deliverables.

- Experience with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, Git, Docker, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).

- Strong architectural reasoning, debugging skills, and problem-solving capability.

Technical Skills :

- Experience integrating with data systems, financial systems, master data applications, or other enterprise platforms.

- Understanding of financial data flows, master data structures, and backend process logic is a plus.

- Hands-on experience building API-driven integrations and automation workflows.

- Strong grasp of NLP concepts such as intents, entities, conversational flows, and training data optimization.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with frameworks like Dialogflow, Rasa, Microsoft Bot Framework, Kore.ai, Moveworks, or similar.

- Exposure to LLM-based features, generative AI, and advanced conversational design patterns.

- Experience using observability tools for logs, metrics, alerts, and performance monitoring.

- Knowledge of Mandarin is an added advantage, especially for collaborating with regional stakeholders or platform teams.

- Prior experience working with external vendors or platform engineering teams on roadmap delivery.
