Job Title : Trainee - Hardware Testing

Location : Noida

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of IoT devices (hardware, firmware, software).

- Analyze embedded systems, microcontroller-based devices, and IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, BLE, Zigbee, etc.).

- Perform firmware analysis, reverse engineering, and exploit development.

- Review device architecture, network stack, and communication channels for security gaps.

- Design and execute threat modeling for IoT environments.

- Test device security from physical, software, and wireless attack perspectives.

- Write detailed assessment reports, including CVSS scoring, risk ratings, and mitigation strategies.

- Work with developers to validate and re-test fixes.

- Stay current with emerging IoT threats and tools in the security domain.

- Contribute to security best practices for connected devices and smart ecosystems.

Job Requirements / Qualifications :

Must-Have Technical Skills :

- Solid understanding of IoT architecture (devices, edge, cloud).

- Proficiency in penetration testing tools (Burp Suite, Wireshark, Metasploit, Nmap, Ghidra, etc.).

- Experience in firmware extraction, unpacking, and analysis (Binwalk, QEMU, IDA Pro).

- Knowledge of embedded system vulnerabilities (e.g., JTAG, UART, SPI).

- Strong background in wireless communication protocols (Wi-Fi, BLE, Zigbee, LoRaWAN).

- Hands-on experience with network and protocol fuzzing tools.

- Understanding of secure boot, hardware root of trust, TPMs, and TEE concepts.

- Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 for IoT.

Programming & Scripting :

- Scripting in Python, Bash, or similar for automation.

- Understanding of C/C++ for analyzing embedded software.
