Respond to cyber attacks in real time

As Security Architect II, you'll provide advanced consultation for mitigating attacks on critical web applications & API for Akamai's managed security customers, like Banks, e-commerce, and other enterprises. You would help identify real-time cyber-attacks based on available data, strategize & suggest or deploy mitigations while neutralizing adverse impact to the end users.

As a Security Architect II, you will be responsible for :

- Devising and engaging mitigation strategies to prevent real-time attacks, using Akamai products & platform

- Performing advanced analysis to identify attacks, threats to customers digital properties -

Web applications and associated APIs

- Providing consultation & attack mitigation strategies to customers or peer teams based on the analysis.

Do what you love :

To be successful in this role, you will :

- Have 3+ years of experience and a bachelors degree in computer science/engineering

- Have experience providing technical solutions & support to B2B customers

- Be well-versed in how the internet works, its underlying protocols, with an understanding of DNS, HTTP/S, TCP.

- Have basic knowledge of Linux and/or Unix

- Be able to prioritize workload and communicate technical issues to stakeholders of varying technical ability.

- Have excellent communication skills & teamwork.

- Have demonstrated passion for helping customers & peers during such critical engagements.

- Have displayed good problem-solving skills and the ability to develop creative solutions
