Role Overview :

As an SAP MDM Consultant on a 6-month contract, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing master data solutions for our clients. You will collaborate closely with client stakeholders, business users, and technical teams to understand complex data requirements, translate them into effective SAP MDM strategies, and ensure the integrity and quality of critical business data. Your expertise will directly contribute to enhancing data governance frameworks and improving operational efficiency across various client engagements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and configure SAP Master Data Management (MDM) solutions, including data models, workflows, and data quality rules, to meet specific client business requirements.

- Lead data migration activities, ensuring accurate and consistent transfer of master data from legacy systems into SAP MDM platforms for seamless integration.

- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to integrate SAP MDM solutions with other SAP modules and external systems, ensuring end-to-end data flow and consistency.

- Provide expert guidance and support to clients during testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to validate solution functionality.

- Develop comprehensive documentation for SAP MDM processes, configurations, and user manuals, facilitating knowledge transfer and ongoing system maintenance for client teams.

- Act as a subject matter expert, advising clients on best practices in master data governance and data lifecycle management to foster sustainable data quality.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated experience of 3 to 8 years in SAP Master Data Management (MDM) or SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) implementations and support.

- Strong proficiency in designing and configuring master data objects, data models, and data quality processes within SAP MDM/MDG environments.

- Proven ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions for master data management.

- Excellent understanding of data migration strategies, tools, and techniques, with hands-on experience in data cleansing and validation.

- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a meticulous approach to data integrity and system functionality.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- Adaptability to work in a dynamic project environment, primarily on-site or in a hybrid model based out of our Bengaluru South office.
