We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Architect to design and deliver scalable, secure, and future-ready technology solutions for global Capital Markets clients. This role requires strong expertise in AI/ML platforms, cloud-native architectures, and distributed systems, along with the ability to guide enterprise adoption of emerging technologies while aligning with regulatory, security, and business objectives.

The ideal candidate brings deep architectural thinking, hands-on AI/ML solution design, and strong stakeholder collaboration skills in complex financial environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Architectural Design & Strategy :

- Design cloud-native, distributed architectures using AWS, Azure, or GCP

- Define AI/ML solution architectures, including model lifecycle management, data pipelines, and MLOps practices

- Architect secure, resilient, and compliant platforms following Zero Trust principles and regulatory standards relevant to Capital Markets

- Define integration patterns using microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures

- Ensure solutions are scalable, performant, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards

Technology Leadership :

- Act as technical authority for AI/ML and advanced analytics solutions

- Lead architectural decision-making for enterprise-scale programs

- Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies, innovation trends, and industry best practices

- Collaborate with engineering, data science, security, and business teams to ensure architectural consistency

Solution Delivery & Governance :

- Translate business and regulatory requirements into technical blueprints and solution designs

- Oversee implementation, integration, and technical quality across delivery teams

- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and financial regulations

- Review designs, mentor teams, and drive adherence to architectural standards

Innovation & Continuous Improvement :

- Drive proof-of-concepts (POCs) and pilots for advanced technologies (AI/ML platforms, data engineering enhancements, automation)

- Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and platforms for enterprise adoption

- Continuously optimize architecture for performance, cost efficiency, and operational excellence

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Education :

- Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent (preferred)

Experience :

- 8 - 15 years of overall experience in solution architecture or enterprise architecture

- Minimum 3+ years designing and delivering AI/ML solutions in production environments

- Strong exposure to Capital Markets / BFSI systems (trading, risk, analytics, data platforms preferred)

Technical Expertise :

Cloud & Architecture :

- AWS, Azure, or GCP (multi-cloud or hybrid exposure preferred)

- Cloud-native architectures, microservices, containers, Kubernetes

- API design, integration patterns, and distributed systems

AI / ML & Data Platforms :

- AI/ML frameworks : TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn

- MLOps practices : model deployment, monitoring, versioning, CI/CD for ML

- Data pipelines, feature engineering, and analytics platforms

Security & Compliance :

- Secure architecture design, Zero Trust principles

- Data privacy, encryption, and regulatory compliance in financial services

Emerging Tech (Exposure Preferred) :

- Blockchain and distributed ledger concepts

- Edge computing and IoT architectures (conceptual or pilot-level)

Soft Skills :

- Strong stakeholder communication and architecture storytelling skills

- Ability to bridge business requirements and technical solutions

- Leadership mindset with mentoring and collaboration capabilities

- Comfortable working in global, cross-functional environments

Nice to Have :

- Experience with real-time analytics, low-latency systems, or trading platforms

- Exposure to model governance, explainable AI (XAI), and risk analytics
