AI Automation Engineer

Role & responsibilities :

We are looking for an AI Automation Engineer to help improve the way our business operates across internal systems, website workflows, marketing processes, reporting, and team productivity.

The role will focus on using Claude and other AI tools to identify inefficiencies, streamline workflows, reduce manual work, and support better execution across departments.

Preferred candidate profile :

- Experience in AI automation, workflow optimisation, business process improvement, or digital operations

- Strong hands on experience using Claude, ChatGPT, or similar AI tools in a practical business environment

- Good understanding of automation tools, process design, and systems thinking

- Comfortable working across marketing, operations, website related workflows, and internal business processes

- Strong communication and documentation skills

- Proactive, organised, and able to take ownership of projects

- Experience in ecommerce, digital businesses, or product based companies is preferred

- Exposure to APIs, integrations, Python, or no code automation tools is a plus

Qualifications & Skills Must-Have :

- 3+ years of experience in AI automation, software engineering, workflow engineering, digital operations, or related technical roles

- Strong coding ability in Python and confidence writing production quality scripts, workflow logic, and internal tools

- Must be able to code independently and contribute directly alongside our development team

- Experience using Claude, ChatGPT, or similar AI tools to improve workflows, build internal solutions, and speed up execution

- Good understanding of APIs, webhooks, JSON, SQL, system integrations, and automation logic

- Comfortable working within a structured development workflow and collaborating with developers through tools such as Jira

- Ability to work from tickets, document progress clearly, and communicate effectively with technical team members

- Experience building or improving real workflows across internal systems, websites, marketing operations, reporting, or business processes

- Ability to debug issues, test outputs, and refine solutions in collaboration with a development team

- Comfortable reading, understanding, and improving existing code with support from internal developers where required

- Strong problem solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to turn business requirements into practical technical solutions

- Strong communication and documentation skills, including writing SOPs, internal guides, and clear workflow documentation
