We are seeking a Lead Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale digital experiences using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The role combines hands-on development, technical leadership, and architectural decision-making, working closely with architects, product owners, UX, DevOps, and client stakeholders. Have deep expertise in AEM as a Cloud Service, strong Java and Sling fundamentals, and experience leading development teams in complex enterprise environments.
Responsibilities :
- Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise AEM solutions, from technical design through implementation and release.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to AEM development teams.
- Design scalable content models, workflows, templates, and component architectures.
- Develop custom AEM components, Sling Models, OSGi services, and workflows using modern AEM best practices.
- Define and enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure solution quality.
- Drive implementation of core components, editable templates, and headless AEM patterns.
- Oversee integrations between AEM and external systems using APIs and event-driven approaches.
- Collaborate with UX, QA, DevOps, and product teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployments across development, test, and production environments.
- Participate in technical estimations, sprint planning, and delivery commitments.
- Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs to stakeholders and leadership.
Requirements:
- 5+ years focused on Adobe Experience Manager.
- Proven experience acting as a lead or senior AEM developer on enterprise-scale implementations.
- Strong understanding of AEM architecture, Apache Sling, OSGi, and modular application design.
- Expertise in Sling Models, HTL, Core Components, and Editable Templates.
- Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service, including Cloud Manager and modern deployment pipelines.
- Solid knowledge of Java, Java EE, Servlets, and Spring-based frameworks.
- Experience implementing AEM WCM, DAM, MSM, workflows, and localization.
- Hands-on experience with headless AEM, content fragments, and GraphQL APIs.
- Proficiency in HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript, and modern frontend build tools (npm, Webpack).
- Familiarity with integrating AEM with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, Git-based workflows, and Maven-based builds.
- Working knowledge of Dispatcher, caching strategies, and web application servers.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and estimation skills.
- Exposure to Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign, or AEM migration projects is a plus.
