We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to help shape the future of Interaxo and ensure our users have a seamless, reliable experience across web and mobile platforms.


Who will you work with?


At Tribia, you'll collaborate with passionate and experienced colleagues across teams building our three main SaaS products : Interaxo Project, Interaxo Capture, and Interaxo BIM Data, along with supporting components such as our web-based 3D Viewer and mobile applications.


You'll be part of a product-driven organization where backend, frontend, mobile, DevOps, and UX professionals work closely together to deliver reliable and scalable solutions to the construction and infrastructure industry.

Technical Requirements :


Our flagship product, Interaxo, is a robust project collaboration platform built on the Alfresco ecosystem.


The platform is powered by modern backend technologies including Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus, Kafka/Redpanda, Elasticsearch, ActiveMQ, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes, with a cloud-native microservices architecture that enables scalability, resilience, and continuous innovation.


For over a decade, it has supported large-scale Construction and Infrastructure projects across the Nordic region, becoming a trusted solution in a demanding industry.


We are now in an exciting transformation phase. While continuing to operate and enhance our existing platform, we are also modernising our architecture and introducing new, scalable technologies to meet future needs. This means you'll work in a dynamic environment that balances stability with innovation.


We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer who thrives in complex systems, enjoys solving real world challenges, and wants to contribute to the evolution of a mission-critical platform.


- Strong expertise in designing, building, and evolving Java-based services using modern frameworks such as Spring Boot and/or Quarkus.


- Deep understanding of designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality RESTful APIs.


- Excellent coding practices with solid experience in Git, GitHub workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.


- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, automated testing strategies, and test-driven development.


- Comfortable working across the stack from backend services to web layers and motivated to tackle challenges wherever they arise.


- Hands-on experience with a public cloud ecosystem (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and strong familiarity with cloud-native technologies, including containers and Kubernetes.


- Experience with monitoring and observability practices, including performance tuning and production diagnostics.


- Familiarity with tools such as New Relic, Grafana, and Prometheus to monitor application health, system performance, and distributed services is highly valued.


- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and AI Agents to accelerate development workflows including code generation, test creation, refactoring, documentation, and analysis while maintaining high standards for quality, security, and architectural integrity.


Non-Technical Requirements :


It is essential that you have excellent English skills and are well-versed at making yourself understood through fluent spoken and written business communication.
