What Youll Do :

As an Android Framework Developer at Acsia Technologies, youll be part of a collaborative team working on next-gen automotive applications and services built on the Android platform. Youll architect robust, modular Android framework solutions that interface seamlessly with in-vehicle systems, support multi-user and multi-display environments, and comply with industry safety and security standards.

Your key responsibilities will include :

- Designing and developing custom Android services and IPC mechanisms using AIDL/Binder

- Implementing secure permission models to ensure app and service-level safety

- Managing Android.bp builds, signing keys, and optimizing build workflows

- Enabling and refining multi-user and multi-display functionalities

- Enhancing core framework components such as Activity Manager, Package Manager, Service Manager, and Permission Controller

- Developing and integrating Car-specific frameworks (e.g., VHAL, SOME/IP)

- Contributing to scalable solutions tailored for Automotive OS and infotainment platforms

Must-Have Skills :

To be successful in this role, you should bring :

- Strong proficiency in Java, C/C++, Kotlin, Shell scripting, and experience with NDK

- Deep knowledge of Android internals, system services, and security architecture

- Proven experience in developing thread-safe, high-performance Android system services

- Hands-on expertise with AOSP, Android.bp, HAL, HIDL, and VINTF

- Familiarity with automotive communication protocols like VHAL and SOME/IP

- Advanced debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a knack for clear, technical communication

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have) :

- Experience working on Android Automotive OS (AAOS)

- Familiarity with Google Automotive Services (GAS)

- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines in embedded development environments

- Exposure to OTA update systems, SE Linux, and vehicle safety standards
