Job Title : Murex MLC Consultant

Experience : 3 to 6 Years

Role Summary :

The Murex MLC Consultant will be responsible for implementing, enhancing, and supporting Murex Limit Controller and Datamart solutions within banking and financial services environments.

The role requires strong functional knowledge of credit and collateral risk, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality Murex solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Deliver end-to-end enhancements and implementations for Murex Limit Controller and Datamart modules

- Configure and maintain risk limits, MLC formulas, matrices, and reporting structures

- Manage limit group setups and exposure calculations across counterparties and risk types

- Design and develop custom Datamart reports using SQL and stored procedures

- Perform trade trace and analysis to debug risk and exposure calculation issues

- Develop and maintain shell scripts for data processing and format conversions

- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions

- Provide production support and resolve Murex-related issues within SLAs

- Participate in release management activities using tools such as Git and Confluence

- Work in Agile environments to ensure timely and quality project delivery

- Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and conduct knowledge transfer sessions

- Successful delivery of Murex MLC and Datamart enhancements

- Accuracy and stability of credit risk and limit management configurations

- Timely resolution of production issues and user queries

- Quality and reliability of Datamart reports and risk analytics

- Stakeholder satisfaction through effective communication and delivery

- Compliance with SDLC, release, and documentation standards

Required Skillsets :

- Strong hands-on experience with Murex Limit Controller

- Solid understanding of credit risk, collateral management, and limit management

- Experience working with Murex Datamart and reporting objects

- Proficiency in SQL, stored procedures, and data analysis

- Experience in shell scripting and data processing

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and in Agile delivery teams

- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have Skills :

- Experience with LRB reporting and exposure frameworks

- Exposure to banking and financial services domains

- Familiarity with release and configuration management tools
