We are looking for candidates with strong hands-on Workday Integration development as well as production support/operations experience, rather than candidates whose experience is primarily focused on Workday configuration or implementation projects.

Please consider the following areas during your initial screening :

Hands-on Workday Integration Development :

- Candidate should have practical experience designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting Workday integrations.

Workday Studio :

- Hands-on Studio experience is preferred and should be clearly demonstrated.

Workday Integration Technologies :

- Good working knowledge of RaaS, Core Connectors, Workday Web Services/APIs, and different integration patterns.

Procurement Integrations :

- Experience with Workday Procurement integrations is important, including PunchOut/cXML integrations and related scenarios.

Production Support :

- Candidates should have experience supporting integrations in production, including incident troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, monitoring, failure recovery, and reprocessing.

Operational Mindset :

- We are looking for candidates who can independently analyze issues, proactively investigate failures, communicate with stakeholders/vendors, and drive issues through resolution.

Workday Functional Understanding :

- Candidate should have a good understanding of the Workday functional areas relevant to integrations, particularly Finance, Procurement, HCM, and related business processes.

- They should be able to understand functional requirements, Workday business processes, reports, calculated fields, security considerations, and how functional configuration impacts integrations.

- We are looking for candidates who can effectively bridge the gap between functional requirements and technical integration solutions, rather than having only technical integration knowledge.

Independence :

- Candidates should be comfortable owning integration issues end-to-end and should not be primarily dependent on functional/configuration teams for technical troubleshooting
