Job Description - Senior Scrum Master (SAFe)

Role Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile teams within a SAFe Agile Release Train (ART). The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile delivery, remove impediments, coach teams on Scrum and SAFe practices, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring alignment with business and program objectives. This position involves close collaboration with US-based stakeholders and requires flexibility to work during India-US overlapping hours, including late evenings when needed.

Key Responsibilities :

- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

- Support PI Planning, System Demos, UAT, and Go-Live activities.

- Coach teams on Agile, Scrum, and SAFe best practices.

- Remove impediments and drive timely resolution of blockers.

- Partner with Product Owners to maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog.

- Manage cross-team dependencies and ART-level collaboration.

- Track and report Agile metrics and delivery performance.

- Drive continuous improvement and Agile maturity initiatives.

- Support organizational Agile transformation efforts.

Required Skills:

- Strong experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.

- Hands-on experience with SAFe Agile frameworks and Agile Release Trains (ARTs).

- Expertise in Scrum practices, Agile metrics, and team facilitation.

- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and reporting tools such as Power BI.

- Strong stakeholder management, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Certifications:

- SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) | SAFe Agilist (SA) | Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
