Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Ab Initio BI Developer to join our data engineering team in the banking domain.

The ideal candidate will have 57 years of hands-on experience in Ab Initio, along with strong expertise in Spark, Hive, Oracle, and UNIX.

Experience with Teradata is a strong plus.

This role involves developing and maintaining robust data pipelines and BI solutions to support critical banking operations and analytics.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Ab Initio.

- Build scalable data pipelines and transformation logic using Spark and Hive.

- Work with large-scale data sets in Oracle and Teradata environments.

- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.

- Automate data processing tasks using UNIX shell scripting.

- Collaborate with business analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements.

- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with banking standards.

- Participate in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production support.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 57 years of hands-on experience in Ab Initio development.

- Strong experience with Apache Spark and Hive in big data environments.

- Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.

- Solid understanding of UNIX/Linux systems and shell scripting.

- Experience in handling large-scale data integration and transformation projects.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Desired Skills :

- Experience with Teradata is highly desirable.

- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and BI reporting tools.
