About the Role :


We are hiring for a single role that combines MetaHuman character creation and real-time development, clearly divided into Design responsibilities and Development responsibilities within the same position.


Candidates may come from a Designer background or a Developer background. However, to be a strong fit for this role, the candidate must be able to work effectively with both design and development workflows using Blender, Unreal Engine, and Unity. Candidates who can independently handle both design and development will be considered the best fit for this role.


Roles/Responsibilities : Design (3D / Technical Artist) :


The design responsibility focuses on creating ultra-realistic humanoid characters, including MetaHuman male and female characters, with high attention to bone structure, skin realism, and facial expressions. The role includes character modeling, rigging, lighting, and texturing, with a strong emphasis on correct skeletal structure, skin deformation, and natural facial movement.


You will be responsible for setting up humanoid avatars, managing bones, skin weights, facial blend shapes, and morph targets, and ensuring realistic deformation during animation. The role requires expertise in facial expressions, subtle movements, emotional realism, and lip-syncing, prioritizing expressive faces with minimal unnecessary body motion.


Additional responsibilities include working with skeletal animation systems, blending facial and body animations, integrating Mixamo animations when required, and preparing assets in Blender for real-time use. All character assets must be optimized and exported correctly for integration into Unreal Engine and Unity.


Role Responsibilities Development (Real-Time / AR/VR Developer) :


The development responsibility focuses on integrating characters and systems into Unreal Engine and Unity. This includes working with Blueprint scripting (Unreal) and C# programming (Unity) to implement character logic, animation control, and interaction systems.


You will implement real-time microphone audio capture, audio analysis (RMS, amplitude, visemes), and real-time lip-sync systems, ensuring accurate facial animation driven by audio input. The role also includes performance optimization for real-time environments, ensuring smooth execution across VR and interactive deployments.


For Unity-based delivery, responsibilities include Unity WebGL builds and optimization, JavaScript to Unity WebGL communication, non-iframe WebGL embedding, and interaction between Unity content and browser-based systems. You will work on JavaScript / TypeScript SDK development, framework-agnostic SDK architecture, public API design (for example, speak(text : string)), and thin frontend wrappers using React or Angular.


You will also handle source code management (Git), project packaging, demo delivery, and preparation of technical documentation such as README files and implementation notes.


Required Skills and Qualifications :


- Candidates must have strong hands-on experience with Blender, Unreal Engine, and Unity.


- A minimum of 3+ years of professional experience is required.


- Designers must be comfortable working closely with developers, and developers must be comfortable working with 3D assets and character systems.


- Strong experience with MetaHuman workflows, skeletal systems, facial rigs, skinning, and real-time animation is essential.


Preferred Skills (Good to Have) :


- Experience with MetaHuman advanced workflows, procedural systems, WebGL pipelines, SDK design, modern frontend frameworks, and immersive VR deployment is preferred.


- Candidates who demonstrate strong execution ability, attention to detail, and a passion for realism and expression will be highly valued.


Work Environment & Expectations :


- This is a fully on-site role in Gurugram, and all interviews will be conducted at the Gurugram office.


- The work schedule is 6 days a week, and extended hours may be required during critical delivery phases.
