Role Summary :

We are hiring an experienced Project Manager to independently own end-to-end delivery of tech and design-led projects. The role demands strong execution ownership, sound technical understanding, and the ability to operate in fast-paced, high-expectation environments. This is not a coordination or account management role.

The ideal candidate is decisive, adaptable, accountable, and understands how digital products are planned, built, and delivered.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own projects from kickoff to closure, including scope definition, planning, execution, and final delivery.

- Translate business and client requirements into clear workflows, technical briefs, user stories, timelines, and deliverables.

- Ensure delivery meets agreed scope, timelines, performance benchmarks, and quality standards with minimal rework.

- Take informed execution decisions without excessive dependency on escalations.

- Anticipate technical and delivery risks, identify dependencies, and take corrective actions proactively.

- Balance speed, quality, scalability, and stakeholder expectations under pressure.

- Possess strong working knowledge of web and mobile application architectures, including :

1. Frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue - conceptual understanding)

2. Backend systems (Node.js, PHP, Python, Java - conceptual understanding)

3. CMS platforms (WordPress, headless CMS, custom CMS)

- Understand APIs, integrations, and data flows, including third-party tools (payment gateways, CRMs, analytics, marketing tools).

Knowledge of hosting and infrastructure fundamentals, including :

- Cloud hosting (AWS, Azure, GCP - high-level)

- Deployment pipelines, staging vs production environments

- Ability to evaluate technical feasibility, scalability, performance impact, and risk, even without writing code.

- Collaborate effectively with architects and developers on solution design and trade-offs.

- Define and manage end-to-end workflows across design, development, QA, and deployment.

- Drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, estimations, and execution tracking.

- Create well-defined user stories with acceptance criteria in collaboration with tech and design teams.

- Ensure no work begins without clarity on scope, dependencies, assumptions, and technical approach.

- Act as the primary delivery POC for clients.

- Confidently push back when required using logic, data, technical impact, and delivery implications.

- Ensure all approvals, feedback, risks, and scope changes are clearly documented and signed off.

- Work closely with design, development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure alignment and accountability.

- Drive clarity on responsibilities, timelines, dependencies, and handoffs across teams.

- Use Basecamp extensively for planning, communication, documentation, and tracking.

- Maintain structured project plans, sprint plans, meeting notes, approval logs, and change requests.

- Ensure complete communication and decision trails for audit and reference.

- Identify gaps in delivery, tooling, or process and propose practical improvements.

- Leverage tools (including AI-powered tools) to improve efficiency, clarity, estimation accuracy, and turnaround time.

Required Skills & Experience :

Core Experience :

- 5 - 6 years of experience managing tech-driven digital projects (websites, platforms, applications).

- Proven ability to manage multiple parallel projects with overlapping dependencies.

Technical Skills (Non-Coding) :

- Website and application development lifecycles

- Design workflows (UX, UI, prototyping, handoff)

- System architecture and hosting fundamentals

- REST APIs, webhooks, third-party integrations

- Version control concepts (Git - conceptual)

- QA processes, testing cycles, and release management

- Hands-on experience with Basecamp and/or Jira.
