Description :

Andersen is hiring a Backend Developer (.NET) for a project integrating insurance products and policy flows into a new client application, enabling seamless policy purchases.

Responsibilities :

- Contributing to and actively shaping architectural discussions and decisions.

- Designing and implementing APIs and backend services.

- Collaborating with business analysts and developers to implement user stories.

- Building high-performance, scalable backend solutions.

- Ensuring code quality, performance, and maintainability.

- Performing root cause analysis and resolving complex issues.

- Maintaining and supporting existing backend services.

- Reviewing pull requests and enforcing coding standards.

- Mentoring team members and promoting best practices.

- Driving initiatives to improve quality, security, and system performance.

- Taking end-to-end ownership across design, development, and delivery.

Must-haves :

- Experience in building large-scale applications in complex technical environments for 5+ years.

- Proven experience working with distributed / remote teams.

- End-to-end ownership of backend API development and understanding of the full API lifecycle.

- Strong knowledge of OpenAPI specifications and Swagger.

- Experience in building scalable cloud applications on Azure.

- Hands-on experience with Azure services : App Services, PaaS, APIM, Application Insights, Table Storage.

- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core/ASP.NET Core.

- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB.

- Confident use of Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code.

- Experience working in Agile environments, including CI/CD pipelines.

- Proficiency with Git and Jira.

- Level of English from Intermediate+ and above.

Nice-to-haves :

- Microsoft Azure certifications.
