Key Responsibilities : - Develop, customize, and manage comprehensive Shopify stores that meet business requirements. - Implement robust front-end designs and functionalities using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Build and maintain scalable backend solutions on Shopify, including application integrations and API connections. - Create bespoke Shopify themes and change pre-existing templates per pre-defined brand guidelines. - Expertly handle Shopify Payments setup, configuration, and optimization to ensure seamless payment transactions. - Integrate multiple payment gateways and ensure compliance with financial and data security regulations. - Develop and implement third-party Shopify plugins and ensure compatibility with existing systems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement marketplace integrations that expand business reach and functionality. - Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure optimal functionality and user experience. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. - Proficiency in the Shopify tech stack for generic and enterprise-level projects. - Strong knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Experience with theme development and customization in the Shopify ecosystem. - Ability to integrate third-party apps and APIs into Shopify stores. - Understanding of SEO best practices for optimizing Shopify websites. - Knowledge of responsive web design and mobile optimization. - Familiarity with version control systems like Git for collaborative development. - Effective communication skills for client interactions and project management.
