Job Title : Technical Manager - QA Location : Bangalore (Hybrid) Experience : 8+ Years Industry : Telecom / Technology Employment Type : Full-time About the Role : We are looking for a Technical Manager QA to lead and scale our quality assurance efforts across automation, performance, and microservices-based systems. The ideal candidate is hands-on with Playwright, experienced in Performance Testing, and has a solid understanding of Microservices architecture and modern QA practices. Key Responsibilities : - Lead QA strategy and execution across manual and automation teams. - Design, build, and maintain scalable Playwright automation frameworks (JavaScript/TypeScript). Cypress. - Conduct and manage Performance Testing (JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.). - Own E2E test planning, strategy, and reporting for assigned products. - Ensure quality in Microservices-based environments, including API and integration testing. - Collaborate closely with Dev, DevOps, and Product teams in Agile/CICD environments. - Explore and implement AI-powered testing tools as part of QA transformation. - Mentor and guide a growing QA team to improve processes and delivery. Required Skills : - 8+ years in QA, with at least 1 year in a leadership role. - Strong hands-on experience in test automation using Playwright/JavaScript/TypeScript. - Performance testing tools expertise : JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar. - Solid understanding of Microservices, API testing, and service-based architectures. - Proficient with CI/CD tools, BDD frameworks, and test management platforms. - Excellent communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred : - Experience in the Telecom domain. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
