Job Description for Embedded Engineer Responsibilities : <ul><li>Develop, implement, and optimize bootloader, Linux kernel Device drivers software for embedded systems</li><li>Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.</li><li>Document software design, coding, and testing processes clearly and thoroughly</li><li>Contribute to system architecture design and requirements analysis</li><li>Perform unit and integration testing to validate software performance.</li></ul>Qualifications : <ul><li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic and Communication Engineering, or a related field</li></ul>Experience : <ul><li>A Minimum of 3 year & max of 7 years of relevant experience in a similar role.</li></ul>Skills Required : <ul><li>Experience with Linux bootloader, kernel, device drivers development and optimization</li><li>Develop and maintain automotive bootloaders, including secondary bootloaders (SBL) and system-on-chip (SOC) bootloaders.</li><li>Experience with OpenEmbedded or Yocto kind distributions</li><li>Solid experience with C and C++ programming languages</li><li>Strong understanding of embedded system concepts and architecture</li><li>Knowledge of debugging tools and techniques for embedded systems</li><li>Experience working with any of MCUs (like TI, NXP)</li><li>Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN.</li></ul>Mandatory Skills : <ul><li>C, C++</li><li>Linux bootloader, kernel, device drivers development and optimization, </li><li>RTOS, yocto, openembedded distributions</li><li>Microcontrollers and Firmware development</li><li>Hardware communication protocol (i2c, spi, uart, can) </li></ul>
