Job Description : - Configure and Administer SIEM (Security Incident and Event Management) tool. - Administer Email Gateway technologies. - Proxy log analysis and leverage for investigation. - Endpoint detection and response platform and policy management. - Analyze and assess security incidents and escalate to appropriate internal teams for additional assistance. - Responsible for investigating incidents, analyzing attack methods, researching new defense techniques and tools, developing security policy, and documenting procedures for SOC. - Malware analysis and other attack analysis to extract indicators of compromise. Perform data security event correlation between various systems. - Prepare reports, summaries, and other forms of communication that may be both internal and client facing. - Periodic upgradation/creation of correlation rules based on emerging threats and requirement following MITRE Attack US-Cert and other TTP sources. - Lead Information security analyst, having an experience of 4+ years in incident management, log analysis and troubleshooting of network and security related issues. - Comprehensive management and technical experience in building and leading large-scale SOC (Security Operations Center) - Good experience in working/communicating with cross-functional IT infrastructure teams like network, system, database, application, security to build and manage effective security operations. - Building Security Operations Center and/or Incident Response Team from scratch. - Implementation-of and building-content-in technologies like SIEM, SOAR and Cloud Security Solutions. - Building Security Metrics that will help customers/management to understand the effectiveness and gaps in Incident Management and over all Cyber Security posture. - Working with customers - requirement gathering, on-boarding, technical discussions, report walk-throughs. - Working alongside teams like Compliance and VAPT - Exposure to related areas of cybersecurity including Host Security, Network Security, IAM, Vulnerability Management, Penetration Testing, Compliance etc. - Develop security scope, KPIs, policies and procedures for various SOC activities. - Defined workflows for the day-to-day operations of SOC - Ensure timeline, scope, quality & resource is managed accordingly with committed deliverables. - Developed Playbooks for analysis and incident remediation - Participate in security design discussion with various teams (technical and management) and provide advice on how SOC can be used effectively. - Installing, updating, upgrading SIEM solution. - On-boarding log sources and working on log source issues. - Create and fine-tune content in SIEM - Correlation Rules, Dashboards, Reports, Lists etc. - Interact with SIEM vendor TAC (support) to fix any issues with SIEM. - Mentor L1 and L2 security analyst. Assist in analysis of P1 alerts and alerts that require involvement of multiple teams. - Evaluate new solutions for SOC team. - Experience in creating reports and KPIs for C-level audience. - Experience of Integrating tools with SOAR and designing incident response workflows in SOAR platform. - Hands-on Experience in writing custom scripts (Python and Regex) for task automation. - Intermediatory knowledge on Python and Regular Expressions.

Security Engineer - SIEM (10-16 yrs)

The Europe PMO team supports the delivery of projects and business case benefits across various functions and regions in LKQ Europe. Reporting to the Central PMO Manager & Head of Portfolio Management, the employee will assume the role of a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Project Assurance. This is a designated project role independent of the Project/Program Manager and Project Steering Committee responsible for quality control during the project delivery. In addition to the SME role, the employee will also contribute to Central PMO team activities. Key Responsibilities and Activities : Pan-Europe SME Project Assurance - Compliance Checks: Project Assurance ensures that projects adhere to EPMO policies and procedures. This involves verifying compliance with the tollgate process, confirming the use of appropriate artifacts, and ensuring relevant approvals are documented. - Artefact Reviews & Checks: Project Assurance reviews key project documents, including RAG ratings, risks, and issues reported by the project team, to confirm alignment with EPMO guidelines. - It also ensures that any challenges are appropriately escalated to the relevant governance body. - Additionally, Project Assurance oversees the proper preparation, storage, and maintenance of essential project documents, such as tollgate documents, risk and issue registers, and highlight reports, following EPMO standards. - Reporting: Project Assurance reports findings from compliance checks and document reviews to the Project Manager, requesting corrections within an agreed timeline. - It monitors the completion of corrections and escalates overdue items to EPMO management. - Project Assurance maintains a status report, keeps EPMO management informed, and facilitates communication between the project team and EPMO. - Project Delivery Playbook: - Schedule and conduct meetings with the working group (WG) to review the playbook as per the agreed timeline. - Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to gather necessary updates and present them for WG review. - Incorporate approved changes into the playbook, conduct a final review with the WG, and publish the updated document. Key and Desired Skills, Experience and Qualifications : Requirements : - 8 to 11 years of professional experience in project delivery/ PMO with at least 2-3 years in Project Assurance. - Foundation level PRINCE2. Practitioner level is an advantage. - Knowledge of Project Life Cycle and its relevance to Project Assurance. - Able to manage and analyze data volumes (mid to advanced level MS Excel user). - Able to produce reports and output via clear and concise papers or PowerPoint Presentations (mid to advanced level MS PowerPoint user). - Proven ability in roles requiring experience in interpreting evidence and solving complex issues. - Proven experience and skills in effective communications and stakeholder engagement. - Experience in working with stakeholders across diverse geographies and cultures. - A Team player and able to manage stakeholders with competing priorities. - Experience in developing/delivering standardized process improvement. - Ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and rapidly changing priorities. - Knowledge of Portfolio Project Management tools (e.g. Planisware, Clarity, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheets)
