Profile : Hardware Networking Engineer

Job description :

Role & responsibilities :

- Managing implementation of IT projects within time and budgets and delivering value and user satisfaction.

- Monitoring and optimizing IT expense

- Identifying the IT needs of the business on on-going basis and ensuring IT business alignment.

- Managing crisis situations which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems.

- To evaluate and purchasing of all softwares, hardware and other IT supplies as per project requirement.

- Designing the network infrastructure and security policies for the company.

- To provide major support for engineering software requirements/availability.

- Responsible for IT hardware, software and maintenance procurement.

- Development and implementation of new systems.

- IT operations, infrastructure & support services.

- Administration & maintenance of servers.

- Designing the network infrastructure and security policies.

- Implementing data backup management of servers.

- Maintain / monitor the network and communication systems (leased line,routers,firewall & other IT security appliances .)

- Maintain & monitor internet services & email filtering policy

- Setting & achieving IT dept objectives.

- Builds and maintains vendor relationships.

- Evaluate & purchasing of all software, hardware and other IT supplies.

- Perform personnel functions

- Software licensing laws ensured. Secure access to the corporate network for remote users.

- Data security from internal & external attacks.

- Manage complex technical hardware or software problems

- Mentoring and training new IT support staff

- Keeping up to date with the latest technologies

- Planning, developing and implementing the IT budget, obtaining competitive prices from suppliers, to ensure cost effectiveness.

- AMC & rate contract maintenance for business critical software and hardware

- Provide a monthly written report to the DIRECTOR & MD on all aspects of the IT dept.
