Role Overview : As a Front-End SDE-2 at FloBiz, you will take ownership of feature development, contribute to architectural decisions, and ensure high-quality code standards. You will translate product requirements and high-fidelity designs into performant, maintainable front-end code, while mentoring junior developers and driving engineering excellence. You will work closely with Product, Design, Backend, QA, and Analytics teams to deliver seamless, user-centric experiences across web and desktop platforms. Responsibilities : - Apply AI-powered development tools to boost quality, velocity, and consistency in day-to-day development (e.g. Cursor). - Own end-to-end implementation of front-end features and modules with minimal supervision. - Maintain high code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning. - Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-platform compatibility. - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing. - Participate in design reviews, architecture discussions, and mentoring to align product, engineering, and team goals. - Take full ownership of delivery outcomes, including edge cases, performance, and post-release stability - Independently troubleshoot production issues, diagnose root causes, and implement long-term fixes - Stay current with the latest AI/tech advancements and proactively share relevant tools, workflows, or insights with the team to enhance productivity and foster a learning culture. Requirements : - 3+ years of experience in front-end development, preferably in B2B products. - Solid experience in Angular(v14+ preferred) or React. - Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript. - Strong feature ownership mindset able to estimate accurately, plan iterations, and deliver high-quality outcomes with minimal supervision. - Ability to troubleshoot and disambiguate issues independently, applying both creative thinking and technical rigor. - Effective communicator who practices clear documentation, proactive collaboration, and cross-functional alignment. Additional Preferred Skills : While the following skills are not mandatory, experience in any of these areas will be considered an advantage: - Experience with Micro Frontend architectures i.e. independently deployable modules, integration strategies (e.g., Single-SPA, Module Federation). - Hands-on experience with web-based ML/NLP models (e.g., using Transformers.js, running models like DistilBERT/TinyBERT in-browser for tasks like intent classification, NLU, etc.). - Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases. - Experience with server-side technologies such as Node.js, Java, Ruby, or Python. - Exposure to Electron framework for building desktop applications. - Knowledge of Web sockets and socket clients for real-time communication. - Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and familiarity with testing libraries like Jasmine and Karma. Your primary responsibility will be translating Sketch/Invision/Figma designs into responsive, high-performance web pages. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA engineers, and designers, to deliver new features, enhance existing functionality, and ensure the best possible user experience for our customers. Responsibilities : - Convert Sketch/Invision/Figma designs into fully functional web pages. - Write reusable and high-performance code to create scalable front-end solutions. - Develop responsive code optimized for Web, tablet, and mobile devices. - Actively contribute to the development of robust applications and prototypes. - Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other team members to ship new features, resolve issues, and continuously improve the product. - Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing business needs promptly. - Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment to achieve collective goals. Requirements : - Proficient in any web based framework, willingness to learn Angular 12+. - Proficiency in HTML5 and JavaScript / Typescript. - Good knowledge of CSS frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap) and LESS or SASS. - Proficiency in understanding and consuming REST Web Services/RESTful APIs. - Experience with version control systems, particularly Git. - Ability and willingness to foster a culture of knowledge sharing and growth within the team.
