Data Engineer We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Data Engineer with expertise in PySpark, Python, and cloud-based data platforms (AWS/GCP) to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, building, and optimizing scalable data processing systems, and working with modern data architectures to support analytics, reporting, and business insights.Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and optimize data ingestion and transformation workflows using PySpark and Python for structured and unstructured datasets. - Build scalable and robust ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real-time processing. - Utilize AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, EMR) or GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Composer) to manage data processing and orchestration. - Develop and maintain data models and schemas in Redshift, BigQuery, or other SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB). - Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analytics. - Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance using tools like Apache Atlas, Data Catalog, or dbt. - Implement data security best practices, encryption, and role-based access control across data environments. - Automate workflows using orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, AWS Step Functions, or Google Cloud Composer. - Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and tune performance for large-scale distributed systems. - Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver actionable data solutions. Technical Skills Required : - Strong proficiency in PySpark and Python for distributed data processing. - Expertise with cloud platforms: AWS: S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, Lambda GCP: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Composer - Solid understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and modern data lakehouse architectures. - Advanced SQL skills and experience with data modeling (star/snowflake schema). - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus. - Familiarity with Apache Kafka, Spark Streaming, or similar tools for real-time data processing is an advantage. - Knowledge of DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) is desirable. Qualifications : - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. - 7+ years of relevant experience in data engineering or big data development roles. - Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on scalable, maintainable solutions. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. About the Role : We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior ADaM/SDTM Implementation Expert to join our clinical data management team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation of ADaM and SDTM datasets, ensuring compliance with CDISC standards and supporting biostatistical analysis. You will leverage your expertise in statistical programming, clinical data standards, and emerging technologies like Generative AI to optimize data processing and analysis. Key Responsibilities : ADaM/SDTM Implementation : - Develop and implement ADaM and SDTM datasets in strict compliance with CDISC standards. - Transform clinical trial data from raw, collected format (SDTM) to analysis-ready format (ADaM). - Ensure statistical traceability from raw data to final analysis outputs. - Program and validate derived datasets, statistical tables, listings, and figures (TLFs). Statistical Programming & Data Handling : - Provide ADaM datasets tailored for biostatistical analysis. - Utilize strong programming skills in Python and SQL for data handling, manipulation, and automation. - Develop and maintain data pipelines for processing structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data. - Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases Generative AI Integration : - Apply Generative AI techniques to process SDTM data and enhance ADaM data analysis. - Explore and implement Gen AI solutions to improve clinical trial data management. - Design, train, and fine-tune Generative AI models (LLMs, GANs, VAEs, Diffusion Models) (Good to have). - Design and optimize prompt strategies for LLMs (GPT, Claude, Llama, Mistral, etc.) (Good to have). Clinical Data Management & Regulatory Submissions : - Contribute to clinical trial data management activities. - Support regulatory submissions by ensuring data integrity and compliance. Infrastructure & Deployment : - Utilize containerization technologies (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes) for application deployment and management. - Manage and use SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and DynamoDB. Required Technical Skills : CDISC Standards : - Expert-level knowledge of ADaM and SDTM implementation. Statistical Programming : - Strong proficiency in Python and SQL. Databases: - Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) databases. Data Pipelines : - Experience in developing and maintaining data pipelines. Clinical Data Management : - Experience in clinical trial data management and regulatory submissions. Containerization: - Proficiency in Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes. - Generative AI (Strong Interest/Experience): - Experience with Gen AI in processing SDTM data and ADaM data analysis. - Strong understanding of LLMs, diffusion models, and generative techniques (Good to have). - Experience in designing, training, and fine-tuning Generative AI models (LLMs, GANs, VAEs, Diffusion Models) (Good to have). - Experience in prompt engineering (Good to have).
