Job Title : Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Product Engineering) Location : Bengaluru South, Karnataka, India. Note : this is not a remote but a work from office role. Our office is based in Jaynagar Bangalore. Experience Level : 3-5 yrs in Ruby on Rails. Note : All candidates will participate in an in-person coding challenge, which will be a key factor in determining the final compensation. What You'll Do : - Independently drive the development of new product features and enhancements, taking ownership from initial concept through to successful deployment and iteration. - Architect, design, and implement scalable and robust full-stack solutions using Ruby on Rails 7. - Build dynamic and responsive user interfaces with Hotwire and Bootstrap. - Design and manage data models and interactions with MongoDB. - Utilize Docker for containerization and deployment of applications. - Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements. - Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on the team. - Lead and oversee the work of junior engineers in maintaining and iterating on existing product features. - Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools. - Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and share your knowledge with the team. What You'll Bring : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. - Proven experience as a Full-Stack Engineer with a strong focus on backend development. - Deep hands-on expertise in Ruby on Rails 7. - Solid experience with Hotwire for building modern web applications. - Strong proficiency in MongoDB and SQL database design principles. - Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and containerization technologies. - Solid understanding of front-end technologies and experience with Bootstrap for responsive design. - Demonstrated product thinking and the ability to independently translate user needs into functional solutions. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. - Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. - A proactive and self-driven attitude with the ability to work independently. - Experience with agile development methodologies. - Experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers. Bonus Points For : - Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure). - Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., RSpec, Capybara). - Experience with other modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js). - Contributions to open-source projects.

Crediwatch - Senior Full Stack Engineer - Ruby on Rails (3-5 yrs)

Must Have : - 2 - 4 Yrs of Experience in building scalable cloud based web applications on Ruby On Rails Framework. - Extensive experience with Rails - Strong knowledge in OOPS concepts and Design Patterns - Experience with MongoDB , SQL or comparable relational database systems. - Proficiency in building data visualizations and Hands on with behavior-driven development with RSpec. - Hands-on experience with JavaScript based UI frameworks like JQuery, AngularJS, React would be a plus. - Good front-end knowledge including HTML5, CSS. - Uses Git for source code management. - Knowledge and use of RESTful coding. - Continuous Deployment - Writing new application features so they can be deployed with zero downtime. - Strong ability to articulate architectures and problem statements. Good to have : - Working Knowledge on any one of Cloud Platforms like Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google. - Knowledge of handling and management of load-balancing and high availability systems and data replications across multiple data-centres - Experience working with ElasticSearch, Logstash and Kibana - Experience with any Graph Database like Neo4J - Experience working with Docker container , Kubernetes Plus Points : - Prior experience working in a fast paced startup environment - Domain knowledge in the financial/data space - Any external, relevant certifications - Hands on knowledge of deployment and monitoring tools
