Job Description : Designation : Engineering Manager As an engineering manager you are responsible for overseeing a team of engineers, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget, and managing the overall engineering process. We are solving one of the most complex business problems and creating an ecosystem of trust for the Stakeholders - Customers, Construction professionals, and Material vendors. Construction has been a highly unorganized and severely tech-deficit industry globally. We are just not trying to organize but disrupt the industry completely using technology and process - creating the playbook for the industry. - Indian real estate is earmarked to be a $650 billion market in 2025 and a $1 trillion worth sector in 2030. About the Role : Position : SDE 2/3 - Backend Location : Bangalore Role Summary : Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. - Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Distributed Systems : - Architect, implement, and optimize distributed systems to support the scalability and reliability of our applications. - Work on the design and implementation of microservices architecture. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to distributed systems. - Participate in the end-to-end design and implementation of complex systems. - Collaborate with system architects to define system requirements and specifications. - Optimize system architecture for performance, scalability, and maintainability. - Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between frontend and backend systems. - Ensure API security and adherence to industry best practices. - Design and implement database schemas, queries, and optimizations. - Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases to store and retrieve data efficiently. - Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and best practices. - Stay updated on the latest industry trends and incorporate best practices into development processes. - Implement unit testing and integration testing to ensure the reliability of the codebase. - Debug and resolve issues, collaborating with QA teams to identify and fix bugs.
