Job Description : We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Network Security Engineer to manage, maintain, and optimize our network security infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and troubleshooting firewalls, network protocols, and security architectures to ensure seamless business operations. Your analytical mindset and technical expertise will be critical in securing our network environment and improving overall performance. Roles and Responsibilities : - Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructures to ensure optimal performance and security. - Manage and configure firewalls including Juniper, Checkpoint, and Fortinet. - Oversee network security protocols, access controls, and risk mitigation strategies. - Administer Cisco routers and switches, ensuring secure data transmission and efficient traffic flow. - Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance routing protocols such as IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP. - Utilize TCP/IP, VLSM, IP addressing, and IPAM tools to optimize network security and performance. - Implement and maintain load balancers (F5, AVI), WAFs, and other security-related network architectures. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy large-scale security solutions. - Work with UNIX/Linux command-line tools for system monitoring and maintenance. - Develop and automate network security processes using Python (additional scripting language knowledge is a plus). - Ensure compliance with industry security standards and best practices to protect data and prevent threats. - Participate in virtual teams to manage security incidents and implement continuous improvements. Skills and Qualifications Required : - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in network security, firewall management, and infrastructure security. - Strong expertise in Juniper, Checkpoint, and Fortinet firewalls. - Hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment. - Proficiency in TCP/IP protocols, routing, switching, and network automation. - Familiarity with security compliance frameworks and risk assessment methodologies. - Experience working with cloud security solutions is a plus. - Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
