Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement robust data models, including star and snowflake schemas.

- Cleanse and transform data to ensure accuracy and consistency.

- Optimize data models for performance and scalability.

- Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards using Power BI's rich visualization capabilities.

- Develop custom visuals and DAX measures to meet specific business requirements.

- Implement drill-down and filtering capabilities to enable data exploration.

- Ensure data security and privacy by implementing appropriate measures.

- Connect to various data sources, including SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, Excel, and other data warehouses.

- Use Power Query to transform and clean data.

- Optimize data loading and refresh processes.

- Collaborate with business users to understand their data needs and requirements.

- Work with data engineers to ensure data quality and availability.

- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices.

- Follow industry standards for data visualization and reporting.

- Continuously improve the performance and usability of reports.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

- In-depth knowledge of DAX and Power Query.

- Experience in data modeling and data visualization techniques.

- Strong SQL skills to query and manipulate data.

- Experience with data sources like SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, Excel, and Power BI datasets.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.

Desired Skills :

- Experience with Power BI administration and governance.

- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics.

- Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, QlikView).

- Certification in Power BI or related technologies.
