Role Overview :

As a Senior Technical Manager, you will lead our backend and full-stack development teams with a core focus on PHP Laravel.

You will be responsible for end-to-end technical strategy, architecture design, team leadership, and delivering high-performance applications.

This role requires a hands-on leader with deep technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor and guide development teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of developers working on Laravel-based applications.

- Define technical architecture and oversee development best practices for performance, scalability, and security.

- Manage complete software development life cycle (SDLC) from requirement gathering to deployment.

- Collaborate closely with product, design, and QA teams to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.

- Conduct regular code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

- Optimize existing applications for maximum speed and efficiency.

- Manage version control, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure deployment (AWS/Azure preferred).

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend relevant tools and frameworks.

- Handle technical escalations and ensure smooth delivery of projects within deadlines.

Requirements :

- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 10 to 20 years of total experience in software development with a strong background in PHP and Laravel Framework.

- Proven experience in leading and managing technical teams.

- Solid understanding of MySQL, RESTful APIs, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like Vue.js or React.

- Experience with microservices architecture, API integrations, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).

- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker, etc.).

- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to AI/ML integrations or SaaS platforms.

- Experience with enterprise-level applications and high-traffic systems.

- Familiarity with containerization and deployment automation.
