Role Description :

We are seeking a skilled R and Python Developer with hands-on experience developing and deploying applications using Posit (formerly RStudio) tools, including Shiny Server, Posit Connect, and R Markdown.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, application development, and creating interactive dashboards for data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy interactive web applications using R Shiny and Posit Connect.

- Write clean, efficient, and modular code in R and Python for data processing and analysis.

- Build and maintain R Markdown reports and Python notebooks for business reporting.

- Integrate R and Python scripts for advanced analytics and automation workflows.

- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business users to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

- Troubleshoot application issues and optimize performance on Posit platform (RStudio Server, Posit Connect).

- Work with APIs, databases (SQL, NoSQL), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) as part of application development.

- Ensure version control using Git and CI/CD for application deployment.

Required Qualifications :

- 4+ years of development experience using R and Python.

- Strong experience with Shiny apps, R Markdown, and Posit Connect.

- Proficient in using packages like dplyr, ggplot2, plotly, reticulate, and shiny.

- Experience with Python data stack (pandas, numpy, matplotlib, etc.)

- Hands-on experience with deploying apps on Posit Server / Connect.

- Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
