About the Role

We are looking for a Security Engineer II to strengthen Unis security posture and lead end-to-end information security compliance. This role combines deep technical security expertise with hands-on compliance execution, working closely with Engineering, SRE, Product, Compliance, and Leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and enforce security best practices across infrastructure, applications, networks, and development workflows.

- Conduct security design and architecture reviews for new and existing services.

- Harden cloud environments (IAM, encryption, secrets management, network security, monitoring).

- Enable secure SDLC practices (threat modelling, SAST/SCA/DAST, configuration reviews).

- Maintain and improve security policies, SOPs, and guidelines.

- Lead internal and external compliance audits (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, RBI, etc.).

- Drive evidence collection, gap remediation, and audit closure.

- Maintain compliance documentation and track control effectiveness.

- Run risk assessments, vendor evaluations, vulnerability scans, and configuration compliance checks.

- Support incident response and drive preventive security improvements.

Must-Have Qualifications :

- 2 to 5 years of experience in Information Security with strong governance, compliance, and audit exposure.

- Experience with frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST CSF, PCI-DSS, CIS/AWS benchmarks.

- Solid cloud security knowledge (AWS/GCP), IAM, data protection, and secure network design.

- Strong communication, documentation, and cross-functional coordination skills.
