Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Tableau Senior Administrator with 6+ years of hands-on expertise in managing Tableau environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering Tableau Server/Cloud, ensuring platform performance, implementing security policies, and supporting BI teams for optimal dashboard delivery. This is a remote position, and we are actively looking for candidates who can join immediately.

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer, configure, and maintain Tableau Server/Tableau Cloud environments.

- Manage user access, permissions, groups, and site roles across the platform.

- Monitor server performance, capacity planning, and ensure high availability.

- Automate server maintenance tasks and optimize server performance and stability.

- Collaborate with BI teams to deploy and troubleshoot Tableau dashboards and data sources.

- Manage Tableau upgrades, patches, and disaster recovery processes.

- Implement and maintain data governance and security best practices.

- Troubleshoot Tableau issues and coordinate with Tableau Support as required.

- Document admin procedures, guidelines, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 6 years of experience in Tableau administration.

- Strong hands-on experience with Tableau Server (on-prem or cloud).

- Proficient in user access management, content deployment, and performance tuning.

- Solid understanding of data sources, extracts, and live connections.

- Familiarity with scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation.

- Experience with Active Directory, SSO, SSL, and Tableau security policies.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have :

- Tableau Desktop experience for dashboard publishing and testing.

- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Tableau certification(s) is a plus.
