Job Description : Sr. Data Scientist (AI/ML Engineer)

Location : Bangalore.

Department : Software.

You Will :

We are looking to hire a highly creative data scientist to address data analytics challenges in our organization, to collect large volumes of data from varying sources, clean and interpret data, create solutions to overcome challenges and communicate with interested parties.

To succeed in this position; you need to be curious, creative, and tech-savvy.

You need to stay up to date with data programming software and apps, have an outstanding understanding of statistics and mathematics, and be proficient in writing algorithms.

Top candidates will be persistent and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

To Be Successful, You Will Be Expected To :

- End to end development and implementation of machine learning models to analyse and predict vehicle performance, battery health, and customer behaviour etc.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Vehicle Dynamics and Performance (VDP), engineering, and product management, to identify data-driven solutions.

- Design and conduct experiments to test hypotheses, validate model performance and deploy it.

- Analyse large and complex datasets to uncover actionable insights and trends.

- Develop and deploy LLMs for applications such as natural language processing, customer sentiment analysis, and automated reporting.

- Utilise advanced statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques to analyse large datasets related to EV performance, customer behaviour, and market trends.

- Build and maintain digital twin models to simulate and optimise the performance of EV components and systems, enhancing product development and operational efficiency.

- Utilise MLflow for managing the machine learning lifecycle, including experiment tracking, model versioning, and deployment.

- Design, develop, and optimise generative AI models using techniques such as GANs, and other deep learning approaches.

You must have any or a combination of any of the following skills :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

- 5-7 years of experience in data science or machine learning, with a proven track record of delivering impactful projects.

- Strong domain expertise in the electric vehicle industry.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, scikit-learn).

- Experience with data manipulation tools (e.g., SQL, pandas).

- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and modelling techniques.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non technical stakeholders.

- Experience with data technologies (e.g., Apache Spark, databricks).

- Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., GCP, vertex AI, BigQuery ML ).

- Familiarity with vehicle telematics.

- Proficient in Deep Learning technologies.

- Ability to create Vertex AI, Open AI, or any other AI-based solutions.
