ServiceNow Architect - ITSM

Description :

We are looking an experienced ServiceNow Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of our ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM modules, hands-on development expertise, and the ability to architect scalable solutions aligned with enterprise needs.

Skill / Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 9+ years of hands-on experience working with the ServiceNow platform.

- Strong understanding of core ITSM modules : Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request.

- Proven experience with Service Mapping, Discovery, Orchestration, and Service Portal development.

- Proficiency in JavaScript with emphasis on clean, scalable, and standards-driven code.

- Deep expertise in ServiceNow configuration, customization, workflow design, and platform architecture.

- Strong knowledge of diagnosing and improving ServiceNow performance.

- Experience with Import Sets, Update Sets, REST/SOAP integrations, and data exchange processes.

- Working knowledge of configuring and managing email notifications within ServiceNow.

- Experience delivering advanced customizations in the Service Portal is preferred.

Job Responsibilities :

- Architect, design, and implement end-to-end solutions across the ServiceNow platform, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and alignment with business objectives.

- Lead and guide development teams on best practices for ServiceNow configuration, customization, and scripting.

- Oversee implementation and enhancement of core ITSM applications including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management.

- Drive the deployment and optimization of Service Mapping, Discovery, and Orchestration capabilities.

- Design, develop, and maintain Service Portal components to improve user experience and service delivery.

- Evaluate and enhance platform performance; identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and recommend performance improvement strategies.

- Lead integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, Import Sets, Update Sets, and other integration mechanisms.

- Manage and optimize Inbound/Outbound Email Notifications for seamless communications across workflows.

- Ensure all development follows coding standards, reusability guidelines, and enterprise architectural principles.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
