ServiceNow Architect

Description :

We are seeking a seasoned ServiceNow Architect with extensive experience delivering Public Sector Digital Services (PSDS) solutions for Federal Government agencies.

This role requires deep architectural expertise across the ServiceNow platform, including platform establishment, infrastructure setup, DevOps enablement, and secure cloud deployment.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in public sector ServiceNow implementations and hold an active .

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the end-to-end design and architecture of ServiceNow platforms, with a focus on the PSDS module, Case Management, and secure, scalable government-grade deployments.

- Oversee the platform establishment , including infrastructure provisioning, environment planning (DEV/UAT/PROD), system hardening, and cloud configuration in accordance with IRAP PROTECTED standards.

- Define DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for the ServiceNow environment, incorporating version control, test automation, and release workflows.

- Provide architectural governance and technical leadership throughout all phases of the solution lifecycle from business requirements to operational handover.

- Ensure integration with Whole-of-Government platforms such as login.gov.au, myGovID, and other government authentication gateways.

- Work closely with delivery teams to implement solutions that meet business needs while ensuring alignment with digital service standards, accessibility, privacy, and cybersecurity obligations.

- Conduct architecture reviews and prepare assurance artefacts for internal and external design governance forums.

- Contribute to proposals and solution presentations for government clients as required.

Required Qualifications and Experience :

- Minimum 5+ years experience in ServiceNow architecture roles within Federal Government or regulated public sector environments .

- Strong experience in infrastructure setup , environment provisioning , and DevOps practices in the context of ServiceNow platform deployments.

- Hands-on experience in the delivery and configuration of Public Sector Digital Services (PSDS) , Case Management , and Request/Knowledge/Virtual Agent modules.

- Proven ability to implement platform-wide best practices in secure system design, data segregation, logging, and monitoring.

- Deep understanding of IRAP , ISM , and Whole-of-Government security frameworks , with prior experience working in PROTECTED-level environments .

- Demonstrated experience integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise platforms using IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware.

- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GovCloud) and related tools used to support ServiceNow hosting and monitoring.

Mandatory Requirements :

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

- Strong knowledge of secure ServiceNow deployments in government

- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Desirable Qualifications :

- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CSM, PSDS, or Case Management)

- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer

- ITIL v4, TOGAF, or equivalent enterprise architecture certification

- Experience with AI/ML features in ServiceNow (Predictive Intelligence, Virtual Agent)

- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace) in ServiceNow environments
