About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to lead advanced analytics initiatives, develop predictive models, and drive data-driven decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in machine learning, statistical modeling, and big data technologies, with a proven ability to mentor junior teams and communicate insights effectively.

Key Responsibilities :

Data Analysis & Modeling :

- Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.

- Design, build, and deploy predictive models and ML algorithms (supervised/unsupervised learning).

- Validate and optimize models for accuracy, scalability, and business impact.

Collaboration & Leadership :

- Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to translate requirements into data solutions.

- Mentor junior data scientists, fostering best practices in coding, modeling, and MLOps.

Technical Execution :

- Develop ETL pipelines and data workflows using Python, R, SQL, and Spark.

- Leverage cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) for scalable model deployments.

- Create interactive dashboards (Tableau, Power BI) and visualizations to communicate insights.

Stakeholder Communication :

- Present findings to technical and non-technical audiences with clarity.

- Document methodologies and maintain reproducibility in analytics workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Expertise :

- Programming : Advanced proficiency in Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn), R, and SQL.

- Big Data : Hands-on experience with Spark, Hadoop, or distributed computing.

- ML/AI : Strong knowledge of regression, classification, NLP, and deep learning (TensorFlow/PyTorch).

- Cloud & MLOps : Experience deploying models on AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, or GCP Vertex AI.

- Data Visualization : Expertise in Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, or Seaborn.

Soft Skills :

- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical thinking.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Leadership ability to guide teams and drive projects independently.

Education :

- Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.

- Certifications in Data Science, Cloud, or ML (e., AWS Certified ML Specialty) are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with deep learning (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers) for NLP or computer vision.

- Knowledge of experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, causal inference).

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and model monitoring tools.
