Senior Analyst - Power BI/Azure Databricks

Job Summary :

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field (Master's preferred).

Certifications (Preferred) :

- Microsoft Certified : Azure Data Engineer Associate.

- Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional.

- Microsoft Certified : Power BI Data Analyst Associate.

Requirements :

1. 8+ years of experience in analytics, data integration, and reporting.

2. 4+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks, including :

- Proficiency in Databricks Notebooks for development and testing.

- Advanced skills in Databricks SQL, Python, and/or Scala for data engineering.

- Expertise in cluster management, auto-scaling, and cost optimization.

3. 4+ years of expertise with Power BI, including :

- Advanced DAX for building measures and calculated fields.

- Proficiency in Power Query for data transformation.

- Deep understanding of Power BI architecture, workspaces, and row-level security.

- Strong knowledge of SQL for querying, aggregations, and optimization.

- Experience with modern ETL/ELT tools such as Azure Data Factory, Informatica, or Talend.

- Proficiency in Azure cloud platforms and their application to analytics solutions.

- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with high customer expectations.
