SAP MDG Consultant

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Technical Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in SAP Master Data Governance with strong technical skills across data modeling, UI enhancements, workflows, validations, derivations, and data replication. This role requires the ability to work in a hybrid model and closely collaborate with business and functional teams to deliver high-quality MDG solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform end-to-end Data Modeling including extension of standard data models and creation of custom data models.

- Conduct UI Modeling, including enhancements of standard SAP MDG UIs.

- Design and develop BRF+ workflows to support master data governance processes.

- Implement Validations & Derivations using :

1. BRF+

2. BADIs (single-entity and cross-entity)

3. DQM (Data Quality Management) rules

4. Configure and manage Data Replication, including Setting up replication through Web Services

5. Activation processes

6.. Setting and managing filters

- Collaborate with functional and business teams to ensure MDG solutions meet business requirements.

- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for MDG applications.

- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and internal project governance.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP MDG Technical.

- Solid expertise in Data Modeling, UI Modelling, BRF+, BADIs, and DQM.

- Proficiency in Data Replication setup and configuration.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work in a hybrid setup and collaborate across teams.
