Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Product Manager to lead the end-to-end lifecycle of life insurance products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, extensive experience in product development, and a deep understanding of the Indian life insurance market. This role involves strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and driving innovation to deliver customer-centric insurance solutions.?

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute comprehensive product strategies aligned with business objectives and market demands.

- Lead the ideation, design, development, and launch of life insurance products, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, sales, marketing, and technology, to deliver seamless product experiences.

- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product innovation.

- Manage the product lifecycle from concept to retirement, ensuring timely updates and enhancements based on customer feedback and performance metrics.

- Oversee the preparation and submission of product filings to regulatory bodies, ensuring adherence to compliance requirements.

- Mentor and guide junior product team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

- Utilize agile methodologies to manage product development cycles, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stakeholder communication.?

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred.

- 1530 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 7 years as a Technical Business Analyst and over 10 years in product development roles.

- At least 2 years of experience in the Indian life insurance industry, with a solid understanding of insurance products, regulations, and market dynamics.

- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing insurance products, demonstrating strong project management and leadership skills.

- Proficiency in agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.?

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with digital transformation initiatives in the insurance sector.
