What You'll Do :

- Lead a team of engineers to build production-grade systems that integrate LLMs and multimodal GenAI models into Pocket FM's content workflows.

- Collaborate with Product, Data, and ML teams to design systems for AI-powered storytelling, character generation, voice synthesis, and more.

- Oversee the optimization of performance and inference of large-scale GenAI models across cloud and on-device environments.

- Drive the development and exposure of GenAI capabilities as reusable services and APIs for other product teams to consume.

- Champion the continuous exploration of new models and frameworks (like GPT, TTS models, Whisper, Stable Diffusion, etc.) to keep Pocket FM ahead in the GenAI game.

- Guide the team's contributions to the experimentation stack for prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, fine-tuning, and evaluation.

- Drive PMO functions to support operational efficiency and program governance across GenAI and AI/ML work streams.

- Collaborate with senior leadership to define strategic roadmaps, align priorities, and ensure timely delivery across engineering, product, and business teams.

- Act as a problem-solver and facilitator, removing roadblocks and enabling high-impact decision-making.

What We're Looking For :

- 4+ years of experience in technical program management or 6+ years of experience in technical program management, technology consulting, or PMO roles in fast-paced environments.

- 1-3 years of experience in backend/software development (Python, Go, or similar).

- Hands-on experience working with LLMs or GenAI frameworks like OpenAI, HuggingFace, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.

- Proven success managing complex, cross-functional programs especially in tech, GenAI, or AI/ML domains.

- Strong grasp of program management methodologies Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid environments.

- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for translating technical topics for diverse audiences.

- Sharp analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and adaptability to ambiguity.

- Experience working with engineering, product, and data teams in high-growth environments.

- High ownership, integrity, and attention to detail, especially when handling sensitive or high-stakes initiatives.

- A strong passion for solving unique problems and pushing the boundaries of generative.

- Experience working in a generative AI startup or founding a startup.

Bonus Points :

- Prior experience in GenAI, AI/ML, data platforms, or analytics-led organizations.

- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Asana, or similar program tracking tools.

- Background in digital transformation, tech consulting, or ops-heavy roles in fast-paced startups.

- Exposure to text-to-speech, voice cloning, or audio generation models.

- Contributions to open-source GenAI or ML ops tools.

- Prior experience in media, entertainment, or content-tech companies.

- Enthusiastic about storytelling, audio platforms, and immersive content experiences.
