Manual QA Engineer

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Own and drive the end-to-end QA process for web and mobile applications.

- Collaborate closely with development and product teams to define, refine, and improve testing processes.

- Design and execute manual test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.

- Perform functional, regression, white-box, black-box, and exploratory testing.

- Conduct backend, database, and API testing using tools like Postman.

- Ensure issues are properly logged, tracked, and retested until resolution.

- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning and quality reviews.

- Identify risks, propose improvements, and ensure that quality standards are maintained across the product lifecycle.

- Provide clear and timely communication regarding test progress, results, and quality metrics.

Requirements :

- 4- 6 years of professional experience in manual software testing.

- Strong experience in creating clear, comprehensive, and structured test cases, test plans, and bug reports.

- Hands-on experience with white-box and black-box testing techniques.

- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing tools, and best practices.

- Experience testing backend workflows, APIs, databases, and mobile applications.

- Familiarity with non-functional testing aspects (e.g., usability, reliability).

- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a positive and proactive approach.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
