Lead Software Engineer

Location : Magarpatta, Pune (Hybrid Model)

Shift Timings : 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST (Stable Shift)

Experience : Relevant experience in Java & AWS required

We are seeking a highly capable Lead Software Engineer to drive system stability and technical excellence. This pivotal role requires strong expertise in AWS, Java, Spring Boot, and production support activities. You will be responsible for managing production incidents, driving permanent fixes, and collaborating closely with business and technical teams to ensure seamless system functionality and minimal downtime. The role demands a mix of technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership & Development :

- Lead development efforts on AWS-based projects; strong working knowledge of AWS services is mandatory.

- Develop and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, Advanced Java concepts, and APIs.

- Provide quick fixes and enhancements to support system availability.

- Support in analyzing, maintaining, testing, implementing, and documenting system changes and fixes.

Production Support & Incident Management :

- Independently handle production incidents and ensure resolution within defined SLAs.

- Triage complex system issues and coordinate with technical teams for deeper analysis.

- Deliver permanent solutions for recurring problems and automate repetitive tasks.

- Monitor application/system availability and communicate outages or issues proactively.

Team & Business Collaboration :

- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring clear and effective communication.

- Manage daily workflow, including ticket distribution, task categorization, and overall work allocation.

- Provide SME-level support on multiple applications within the support area.

- Assist and train business users on system functionalities and processes.

- Train and mentor new team members and collaborate with other internal teams.

- Document resolutions, new learnings, and update SOPs regularly.
