Lead AI Engineer

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Lead AI Engineer to spearhead the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge AI solutions.

As a technical leader, you will work closely with data scientists, ML engineers, product managers, and software developers to translate AI research and ideas into scalable production-ready systems.

Responsibilities :

- Architect and lead end-to-end development of AI/ML models and systems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define AI product strategies and roadmaps.

- Guide research and experimentation on advanced topics such as NLP, computer vision, LLMs, and generative AI.

- Build scalable infrastructure for data ingestion, model training, evaluation, and deployment (MLOps).

- Mentor junior engineers and promote AI best practices and code quality standards.

- Evaluate and integrate open-source and commercial AI frameworks/tools.

- Monitor model performance and ensure reliability, fairness, and interpretability.

- Own and drive optimization, retraining, and continuous improvement of deployed models.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors/Masters/Ph.D. in Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence.

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning or deep learning.

- Proficiency in Python and popular ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, HuggingFace).

- Experience with deploying AI models in production (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Vertex AI, Docker, Kubernetes).

- Solid understanding of data pipelines, APIs, and software engineering practices.
