About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Node.js Developer to lead backend development initiatives, design scalable services, and drive best engineering practices. The ideal candidate is strong in system architecture, performance optimization, and building robust, production-grade applications.

Key Responsibilities :

Backend Development & Architecture :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services using Node.js.

- Build RESTful APIs / GraphQL services and integrate with databases or third-party systems.

- Architect microservices, event-driven systems, and distributed applications.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.

Technical Leadership :

- Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering best practices.

- Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

- Participate in architectural discussions and drive technical decision-making.

Collaboration & Delivery :

- Work closely with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams to deliver features end-to-end.

- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.

- Ensure high code quality with automated testing (unit, integration, API tests).

DevOps & CI/CD :

- Work with DevOps teams to support application deployment on cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).

- Implement CI/CD pipelines and maintain containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
